World Environment Day 2026

A Global Call for Climate Action

Planting for a Greener and Climate-Resilient Kilifi

BAHA MADZO GADZE FOR CHARITY proudly joined the Kilifi Department of Water, Environment, Climate Change & Forestry, the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA), fellow Civil Society Organizations, and community members in commemorating World Environment Day 2026 at Pwani University.

The celebration was held under the global theme: “A Global Call for Climate Action.”

Together with partners and stakeholders, the event contributed to the planting of 5,000 seedlings, including fruit trees, supporting environmental conservation, biodiversity restoration, cleaner air, and long-term climate resilience.

Through this collective action, BAHA MADZO GADZE FOR CHARITY reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the environment, restoring ecosystems, strengthening sustainable livelihoods, and building a greener future for current and future generations.

We are honored to stand alongside institutions, partners, and community members who continue to champion environmental stewardship and inspire climate action across Kilifi County.
